How to personalize the background of your website

A personal website will not seem like yours until you add some personal touches to it. The background of your website is a good place to start. What color would you like to see every time you go to your web site? Choose a color that says this is who you are. I personally like colors that make me feel good about myself, like yellow or blue. Then, you may want to consider if you want anything else to stand out in the background, like butterflies. Or, maybe you prefer stripes or borders. There are lots of tutorials online that will help you decide the kind of background specially made for your website. You can even use your own images by following the directions on these sites and uploading as your background. Then be sure you save it by clicking “background”. If you choose to use a photograph, remember, all of it will not be seen since it is only the background for other things. Also, you want to make sure whatever you choose for your background that all the text is readable on it. Such as, black text will not be readable on a black background. So, have fun.
